Back in the day building the business… cold calling was a big part of my growth.
Most of the time I’d be calling up to a 100 people per day.
Now when some people hear this, they tend to freak out… like the boogieman’s under the bed or something.
Now if that scares you… keep reading because I’m going to show you no one’s under the bed.
There’s so much trash talking being put out about “cold calling”.
The facts are…
Cold calling when done correctly, is actually a good thing.
I’ll explain why in this week’s training video.
Here’s the thing…
In order to grow your network marketing business… you want to have a full pipeline.
In order to have a full pipeline… you’ve got to be filling it up all the time.
This is done by connecting with the warm and cold market.

Why Cold Calling is a Good Thing
The need for connecting with new people is the life blood of your business.
You really can’t survive in this business by hiding behind your computer… and not connecting with new people.
There’s a lot of social media guru’s out there promoting not to cold call. While this makes network marketers feel good, it also weakens them. It atrophies their prospecting muscles.
This is not good for your business my friend.
You want to start thinking of “cold calling” as a good thing. The key is to set up your system so the people you’re calling have some idea it’s you. I’ll talk more about this in a future issue.
For now, let’s look a little deeper at cold calling… and how to get over this fear.
The Cold Hard Truth about Cold Calling
The truth is cold calling is difficult. This is because it forces you to get out of your comfort zone. This is a GOOD THING, not a bad thing.
Jim Rohn has a great quote about this. He basically says… “Don’t ask for things to get easier. Think how you can become stronger to handle whatever comes your way”.
