When To Get To The Point vs. When To Build Rapport
Imagine you’re on social media, scrolling around and someone messages you saying “Hey how are you?”
A complete stranger. What would you do? Probably feel weird and ask them who they are.
But if someone messaged you saying “Hey, do you have a few minutes to check this out” is less awkward.
In the training below I’m jumping right into why it’s not necessary, and even less productive to try and build rapport when prospecting.
