What You’ll Discover In This Episode:
A Stress Free Way of Building Your Business with Kids in the House
David Bowie says it best in his 1971 song “Changes”…
The world is changing fast and because of this, some of us have our kids at home full time.
If you’re not used to building your business with kids in the house, then today’s training is for you.
I’ll also show you how to get more done, in less time using these “time hacks”. And the best part is, you can charge up your cash-flow too.
If you’re worried or stressed out about your kids busting into your office, and causing a fuss… worry no more!
The First Thing You Must Do When Prospecting With Kids In The House
You don’t need to apologize to prospects when your kids are making noise.
Most of the time, your prospects would love to be at home with their kids. The vast majority of people in the work force are away from their families most of the day.
They’re spending hours each week commuting to and from their job.
They’d love to be home with their kids, and getting paid. So, if you’re worried about what your prospect will think… banish the thought!
You can even use this as an opportunity, to tap into a desire your prospect might have.
Let’s say you’re on the phone with a prospect named John, and your son just walks in the room. The conversation might go something like this…
“Oh, that’s just my son Billy who just walked into my office. Do you have kids John?”
“Yes, I have a 10-year-old son.”
“That’s fanatic!, kids are the greatest. Would you like to be able to spend more time with your son John?”
“Yes, I sure would.”
“Fantastic, I might be able to help with that…”
Then you would share your business info with them. The point is to seize the opportunity, and these times to make closer connections with people.
OK, onto the last item of business.
Time Hacking for Network Marketing Parents
Couple quick tips (see video above for all the details):
1) Be prepared to do revenue producing actives when your kids have down time.
2) Don’t lose sight of small blocks of time, where you can do some quick prospecting.
3) Be efficient with your use of time, because those kids will be waking up soon from their nap.
4) If affordable get a nanny to watch the kids.
Again, this all comes down to planning out your time. The key is when you’re prospecting to be present.
Get creative and do your prospecting while doing the dishes. Or maybe while you’re doing the laundry.
