  • A) Someone who puts out content once in a while and primarily shares other people’s stuff?

If you think the answer is B), you’re correct!

When you show up day in and day out, people start to feel like they know you. Add to that the like and trust factor and your business will blow up!

So think about what you’re good at, what topics you can talk about on a regular basis, and what kind of value can you provide. Later on, you can start repurposing your content and you can create a YouTube channel or a podcast. But it all starts with one decision: showing up for your audience on a consistent basis.

And it’s important to remember that we all start somewhere. There’s nothing shameful about having a small audience or not creating perfect videos in the beginning. Think about where you’ll be 6 or 12  months from now and how hilarious those first videos are going to be. It’s all a process.

What’s more, the Law of Reciprocity is huge. It tells us that whatever you put out there is going to cycle back to you 100 fold. But sometimes it’s going to take a hot second. Think of it like this: just begin teaching people what you know.

You can teach from experience. It doesn’t have to be network marketing; it could be something else that you’re an expert in or you’ve already created some results. They don’t have to be earth-shattering. You don’t have to be in the top 1% of the humans that have achieved it.

And if you feel like you’re not really an expert in anything, then start with what you’re learning. If you’re developing your leadership skills or you’re elevating your mindset, share that with your audience, along with your biggest takeaways, and add your personality to it.

Try and show up with an authority video 1-2/week.

This is a great little hack and it’s an amazing way to jump into personal branding

There are people out there that have built a huge personal brand, doing exactly that! For example, Darren Hardy, former publisher of SUCCESS magazine, initially built his brand around interviewing very successful people. So you can start bringing people onto your show and picking their brain about topics that you’re genuinely interested in!

You could interview your customer, teammates, upline, sideline, downline.

Those are really cool and fun to do.

You could: 

  • Do something with your kids (even if they might complain sometimes)
  • Tell a story
  • Showcase your lifestyle

Never skip over important life milestones. Things like:

  • Getting a promotion
  • Marriage
  • Gender-reveal parties

Do a demo or an unboxing video. There are so many creative ways that you can show up and talk about your products.

But remember: never give away the ending to the movie. Never say the name of your company or the product. Be very strategic to skillfully hide them and focus on the benefits of what your product is going to do.

Idea #6: Presentation/Webinar 

This is an elevated strategy but it’s important to keep it in mind because of how effective it is!  You can use a simple PowerPoint and an easy-to-navigate platform such as  Zoom.

The important thing to remember is that you need to lead with generic education. For example, you can do topics like “3 Steps To A Healthy Lifestyle”. And your product just so happens to be one of those steps!

Idea #7: Daily/Weekly Talk Show

This is going to help you create structure around your brand.

You can do this every week! And here’s the key: your whole team could promote it.

So how would it work? Basically, your viewers will have to stick until the end in order to have a chance to win the free product. And your LIVE doesn’t have to be long. You can share testimonials, benefits, before and afters, etc. 

Just send your potential customers a message like, “Hey, we’re doing a LIVE tonight about ABC (topic), there will be a giveaway! You can win this free product, all you have to do is be on this live broadcast and share it.”

We’ve had live broadcasts that got thousands of views and hundreds of shares because people just want to win a free bottle of whatever. It’s that effective!

And remember: the more people you help and impact, the more money you’re going to make. Out-give your competition. Not because you’re trying to get, but just because you are a good human. You want to help people, and by helping people, you’re going to help yourself. It’s a win, win situation.
